The Crown Ward Post-secondary Application Reimbursement Fee program helps remove another financial barrier to post-secondary participation for current and former Crown Wards. The program covers the cost of the base college and university application fees for Crown Wards applying for their first college or university program.

To assist current and former Crown wards and other youth leaving the care of a Children’s Aid Society with tuition costs.
The 100% Tuition Aid for Youth Leaving Care program is for current and former Crown wards and/or students who are receiving or were previously receiving an Extended Care and Maintenance Allowance or a Continued Care and Support for Youth allowance from a Children’s Aid Society. It may cover 100% of a student’s tuition fees to a maximum of $6,000.
The 100% Tuition Aid program is a joint initiative between the ministry and participating publicly-assisted colleges and universities in Ontario and is available for up to four years of postsecondary study.
